Khan, professor and coordinator of the electronic and computer engineering technology and unmanned aircraft systems design and integration degree options at Kansas State Polytechnic, has been granted a patent for a helical antenna wireless power transfer system by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Campus life
Several faculty and staff along with SGA President Christian Coker were willing to take a pie (or two) in the face for charity. Overall, Student Support Services pie challenge yielded an extra $135 for Cats' Corner on campus.

Veteran Students
The K-State Veteran Student Center is offering a $1,000 scholarship for the fall semester. The recipient must be any U.S. military member currently serving or an honorably discharged veteran, and is currently a student in good standing. Must be a full-time undergraduate in a degree-seeking program. Deadline:  October 15, 2018 . Dependent/Spouse Grant
Dependents and spouses of full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits eligible, regular appointment employees may qualify for the dependent/spouse grant – up to 7 hours for full-time, undergraduate dependents and 3 hours for spouses and graduate dependents.
