T
his year we are going to designate the funds from each of our 6 Lunch/Dinner Out events to benefit a specific Specials Class...Art, P.E., Music, Spanish. Last year, with your support, we raised over $4800!
Our first Lunch/Dinner out will be held on Wednesday, September 16 at Cousin's Bar-B-Q, at both the McCart and the Bryant Irvin locations. This first Lunch/Dinner Out
will
benefit the Music Department.
Come say "Hi" to Mr. Llewellyn, Mrs. Button & Mrs. Tucker. They will all be
at the Bryant Irvin location beginning at 5:00pm.
Please consider inviting one of our new SAS families to meet you for dinner.
SAS will receive 25% of the profits.
This is also the perfect time to buy gift cards for future dinners, gifts, or to give to the SAS Auction.

in our school library. This book fair is a fundraiser for the 8th grade year-end activities.
Parents and/or grandparents are invited to join us during one of our Booknic events. Bring a blanket, have lunch with your child in the courtyard, and then visit our book fair. We will be hosting the Booknic over the course of several days based on the following schedule:
Tuesday, Sept. 22nd

Booknic will be held during your child's regular school lunch time. Early next week, your child will bring home a Booknic RSVP form or you can print it out. Please return the form by Friday, Sep. 18th. Those students whose parents are not able to attend the Booknic will have lunch in the cafeteria and recess as usual.
If you cannot make it to the Booknic, please feel free to come to the Book Fair whenever it is convenient. We will be open from 7:30am - 3:30pm every day through the 24th, and from 7:30am - 12:00pm on the 25th.

Please send your Annual Fund pledge card to the office. REMEMBER all gifts matter and make a difference in our participation percentage. If any parent or grandparent knows someone at a foundation or corporation that might consider making a donation to SAS, please call Rose Hall, SAS Development Director, at 817-292-4355 or send her an
email.
Thank you so much.
