North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour giving extravaganza to benefit local nonprofits and make a difference here at home! In ten years, this online event has transformed from an idea to help raise awareness of nonprofits, to a movement that has ignited a board culture of community-wide giving. During North TexasGiving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community and to support SAS.
North Texas Giving Day is in t-minus 9 days, but you don’t have wait to make your gift SAS! Today through September 19 you can visit NorthTexasGivingDay.org and schedule your donation to Saint Andrew! Once your gift is scheduled you will receive a confirmation email. Then on September 20, you will receive a receipt for the donation once the gift is processed. Scheduled gifts are eligible for prizes and bonus funds!

SMILE - IT'S RAFFLE TICKET TIME
|
Fall Festival is less than a month away. The best opportunity for students to support their school is with RAFFLE TICKET SALES!!
Every child who sells a raffle ticket receives their name on a wildcat paw that will be displayed in the cafeteria. #PawOnTheWall will add excitement and help promote the Fall Festival raffle! Post pictures of your kiddos selling with the #PawOnTheWall
Here are a few other helpful tidbits regarding the raffle:
Students are asked to sell a minimum 6 tickets (that’s just 1 sheet per family!). However, the more tickets each family sells the more rewards each child receives. Top sellers earn Fall Festival game & ride coupons, prizes, an out of uniform and more!
•All patrons who purchase 6 tickets receive 4 Los Vaqueros meals to be enjoyed in the gym at the Fall Festival. Space is provided to indicate who will use the meals.
•Top student sellers will also be granted admission to the VIP Spinning & Plinko Booth at the Fall Festival.
We are doing this #ForTheLoveOfSAS!
Share this link for family and friends to purchase online.

The Spiritual Life Committee at Saint Andrew Catholic School offers two blessed statues to its families: A statue of Rosa Mystica and an Immaculate Heart of Mary Statue. Each week (from Wednesday afternoon to the following Wednesday morning) two families will have the opportunity to take these statues home and use them as a source of inspiration, prayer and reflection. The tote bag containing the statue will also have suggested prayers. This special tradition will hopefully be one full of meaning and faith for each of you.

Saint Andrew Catholic School has a parents group called the Home and School Association. This group coordinates many events that strengthen our community and provide a welcoming environment for SAS families to come together. It also contributes greatly in fundraising which helps keep down operating costs. Every family sending a child to Saint Andrew Catholic School is considered a member of the Association, Meetings are held monthly and all parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Monthly meeting dates are listed on the school calendar. Our next meeting is on Friday, September 21st at 8:05am in the school cafeteria.
