On, Thursday, January 14th students will be able to come
out of uniform
if
their
family has given a gift to this year's SAS ANNUAL FUND. Remember, a donation made on North Texas Giving Day, this year, did not count towards the Annual Fund.
All homerooms that have 100% family participation will have a pizza lunch the following week. Thank you all for your support!
Remember, it is not too late to make a donation. Please consider expressing your gratitude to God through your own generosity. Go to our website and click on the Donate Now! button at the bottom of the page. You may also send your donation to the office.

Mrs. Jones' 3rd grade class has worked hard preparing for Mass tomorrow. As a class they have decided that they would like to help the Sisters of Saint Mary of Namur. Please send your child with toilet paper or paper towels, or as usual, canned goods for the Food Pantry. Thank you for always being so generous.

O
u
r "Feelin Groovy" Book Fair will begin on Friday, January 29th and run through Friday, February 5th.
We will be open from 7:30am - 3:30pm in the library each day, with the exception of February 5
th
, when we will only be open until 12:30pm, because of early dismissal.
This book fair is a fundraiser for our library and would not be possible without our parent volunteers. We have plenty of shifts to fill and would love to have your help! As a volunteer, you can sign up to help the little ones complete their wish
lists (Friday, the 29th), help with the cash registers (they are really very easy to learn and easy to use!), help during Open House and/or Grandparent's Day which will be very busy, and/or help set up or tear down the book fair. Please click here to volunteer.
Please feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you want! Thank you!

Open House is quickly coming and we are in need of some moms to play in our annual 8th Grade Girls vs. Moms Basketball Game on Sunday, January 31st. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or have never picked up a ball, come join in the fun. The girls love the challenge and it is a great way to spend an hour at Open House. Don't want to play, but want to see the game, we'd love the support. Details coming soon.
If you are interested in being a part of the team, please email Dalia Smith. Nothing but net!!!

"
God's mercy can make even the driest land become a garden, can restore life to dry bones (cf. Ez 37:1-14). ... Let us be renewed by God's mercy, let us be loved by Jesus, let us enable the power of his love to transform our lives too; and let us become agents of this mercy, channels through which God can water the earth, protect all creation and make justice and peace flourish.
" (Pope Francis)
