Stability balls have been put into Ms. Sigler's third grade classroom as a substitute for traditional chairs. Research throughout the years has shown that movement and the ability to "wiggle" allows students to better their posture, and concentrate better. Movement is key when activating both sides of the brain. 

Thank you to Coach Jarvis who reached out to Gopher Sports who donated a classroom set of Stability Balls. These are the newest design of stability on the market featuring retractable feet so balls don't roll away when unoccupied. Coach Jarvis will use these balls in 3rd Grade PE as well for drumming fitness and is looking forward to impacting other grade levels soon.
