June 8, 2017
Dear Parents,
It is with mixed emotions that we come to our last day of school. While we are ready for summer and the "change of pace" it brings, we miss the routine of school days with our students. Many of our families we will see again in August, but some will be moving on to other schools. The same can be said this year for some of our teachers and staff. We pray that God will watch over and protect each family and that He would continue to pour out His blessings upon you. This is my prayer for each of you as we close the 2016-2017 school year.

Living on Purpose~Growing in Christ!
Diana Bartholomew
Elementary School Principal

At the end of this school year we give thanks to God:
For all the teaching and learning that have taken place in our school, both in and out of the classroom.
For the talents and gifts that have been shared and the challenges that have been faced.
For the burdens that have been lifted and the hurts that have been healed.
For the respect and care that have been given.
We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun and for those that have grown.
For the faith that has been lived in our daily struggles, for the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days, and for the love that has kept us going.
We give thanks for the community that we are and we ask you Lord -
Bless our students and our families as we begin our summer break. May our time together leave us with memories to cherish. Pour out your love on us that we may return renewed and refreshed to continue our journey together.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

WITH GRATEFUL HEARTS
On behalf of the teachers, staff, and administration of Hales Corners Lutheran School, I would to thank all our parents and families for making this a wonderful school year. We are grateful for the blessing you are to our school family and for the support and trust you give us. We pray that God would pour out His blessings on each family and provide a safe, fun-filled, and relaxing summer!

Mrs. Diana Bartholomew
Dear Hales Corners Lutheran Family,
We would like to thank the children and families of Hales Corners Lutheran School as well as the congregation at large for the kind words, cards, gifts and outpouring of love we received as our upcoming retirement was celebrated this past weekend during worship services. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to visit with so many students, their families, and congregational members.

We thank God for the opportunity to have served Him in the teaching ministry of LCMS for a combined total of over 100 years. It has been an honor to spend the last years of our teaching ministry at Hales Corners Lutheran School. We will always treasure the memories we made during our time here.

We give thanks and praise to God for the wonderful children and families that He has brought into our lives here in this place. We are grateful for the opportunity we had to share His love and truth with our students and their families.

Our prayer for you is that God will continue to bless our school and church with His Spirit as we teach His gospel of truth.

"Continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed."  2 Timothy 3:14

Sincerely,
Debby Farrar - 4th grade teacher
Margaret Hammer - 1st grade teacher
Ann Jobst - 3rd grade teacher
