IMPORTANT NEWS!!

New System
for Afternoon Pick Up
|
There is a new protocol for the parking lot at pick up time! And you need to know about it!
Students will now need to be picked up though car line. The line will become two lanes as you enter the lot and travel toward the front of the school. Parking in the lot for pick up will be prohibited. Cars will exit normally after merging back into one lane.

School Store will REOPEN ON WEDNESDAY, SEPT 6TH
Regular days and hours - MWF from 8:45 - 9 AM
The school store is accessed from the courtyard and is located at the southwest corner of the media center/office building.

Sweatshirts: Hoodies $20 ---
Zippered $25
T-shirts $8 - $15 (Red; White; Black and Grey)
Water bottles - $5
School Supplies - mechanical pencils; G2 Pens; Hi-lighters; Sharpies, etc.
Spirit Items - paw magnets; zipper pulls and lanyards, etc.

Welcome Our New Wildcats!
Keri Mueller is the new ESE Program Specialist at NNMS. Keri, who has lived in Naples since 2011, hails from Illinois, where she served as principal of a PK-5 elementary school. Since moving to our little piece of paradise along with her husband and two children, Keri has taught Kindergarten at Poinciana Elementary School and previously held the position of ESE Program Specialist at Golden Gate Elementary. She enjoys swimming at the beach, exploring new places, eating out, playing with the two family dogs, and traveling to visit family.
Kellymarie Heslin, who co-teaches 6th and 7th grade math, states that she is excited to be a Wildcat now! For the past five years she taught at Parkside Elementary. Married with four children, she still finds time to enjoy the beach, try out new cooking recipes, gardening, and ride roller coasters!
Britt Cordes is a winning addition to the Social Studies Department this year.
Jersey girl, Kristin Pennisi, moved to Southwest Florida after completing a STEM Education degree at the College of New Jersey. Since gaining employment in Collier County in 2010, she has worked in grades 3-8 in Collier County while completing her Master's degree in Instructional Design. Besides spending time with family and friends, Kristin enjoys training her two Miniature Australian Shepherds.
Joining the Technology Department, Matthew Gallimore is "an experienced technology specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the education sector."
Corrin Powell, who left the Colorado Rockies for Naples Beaches, previously taught in the Columbus City School District and Rosebud Reservation Middle School. She likes to spend free time outdoors going on hikes or runs and walking her dog. Also, she is a twin!
Karen Ingram, our new Safe School Assistant, left the banking industry which brought her to us from Baltimore MD, six years ago. Her favorite weekend activity is spending time at the beach with her family, (she has two children and one grandchild), and also delights in traveling to foreign countries, especially the island of Santorini in Greece, where she daily rode a donkey to the beach.
It is our pleasure to also roll out the red and black carpet to Amy Paulsen: our new ISS Assistant, Beth Pirrone: new Media Specialist, Kerri Ihm: General Secretary in Student Services, Shannon Fareseis: General Assistant in the Front Office, and Felt Smith: in Data Entry.
North Naples Middle School would like to acknowledge their enthusiasm and dedication to teaching with a rousing welcome as we look forward to serving our community of NNMS families during this much-anticipated and exciting 2017-18 school year.

PBS Cart Opens September 5th!!
The cart will be in the courtyard
from 8:45 - 9 AM Tuesday mornings.
**Remember that ONLY Catch-A-Coupons
will be accepted at the PBS Cart for school supplies.**
To get Catch-A-Coupons, your student needs to be CAUGHT exhibiting POSITIVE BEHAVIOR!!

Looking for a Box Tops Volunteer!!
Our school is looking for a person who can give a little time to collecting and submitting the Box Tops that our students turn in. It is not a hard job. And it is something you can easily do mostly from home. But you can raise hundreds of dollars for our school!! If you are interested, please contact PTO at [email protected]. WANTED: Summer fun and adventure photos by Sept 8th! These can be with family or of the student. Email them directly to [email protected] or upload them to the free Replayit app (see below). We have received some photos, but more are still needed! In addition, if your student participates in sports and clubs outside of school - please upload photos and info when possible too. If we have space and can highlight what they're doing, we will.
Eighth grade send-off message forms will be sent home Friday, September 2nd! Space is limited, so send in the payment, form, and email your photos to the yearbook adviser [email protected] as soon as possible.
