  • Testing will generally take place from 9:45 - 12:30 depending on the length of the session and number of sessions.
  • Students must take sessions in order (session 1 must be completed before session 2 begins)
  • Students arriving late may not begin a test after the session has begun
  • Please try to arrange any doctor appointment that conflicts with testing time
8th Grade BBQ & Fun Day

Teachers have planned tons of fun and games! We need VOLUNTEERS like YOU to make it the "Best Day Ever". 
Help a couple of hours or all day!

Monday 5/21 through Friday 5/25, NNM will be accepting donations of the following items to be used by NNM students:
  • boxes of tissue (any size/any brand)
  • bottles of antibacterial hand sanitizer (any size/any brand)
  • any of your gently used uniform bottoms or collared shirts that either don't fit or aren't needed anymore (we're looking at you 8th graders!!)
NEED AN INCENTIVE?
FOR ANY ACCEPTABLE DONATION, DONATORS GET TO DRESS DOWN THE LAST TWO DAYS OF SCHOOL: MAY 30TH AND 31ST!!

These items will be turned in by the media center where volunteers will have tables set up for collection. (If you can help with collection...see the story below.)

For Interim 4
Secondary (grades 6-12) interim reports for quarter 4 will be available electronically in the Parent Portal on 5/4.  The interim period ended on 4/27.  Current grades may be viewed at any time for students in grades 6-12 via the Focus gradebook.  If you would like a printed copy of your child's grades, please contact your child's respective school.
Mrs. Bertuna's Global Perspectives classes have created NGO's (non-governmental organizations) to help or aid an area of need in the community or across the globe. They are working on creating PSA's to showcase their ideas. They will have a PSA viewing day later in the month.
 
After reading The Cay, Mrs. Bertuna's advanced class has been creating QuoteNote drawings to showcase the changes of the main character of the book. Then, they are creating interactive board games to showcase the novel highlights and main events
   
Parent volunteers needed 830am-915am---  Monday 5/21 thru Friday 5/25 for collection of donations of tissues and antibacterial hand sanitizer outside the media center. There will be 2 tables with alpha lists for names to be highlighted.   This would be a huge help!
 
Also,  5/29  Tuesday Locker clean out ( assist in collection of locks and supervising students while they clean out lockers ) ........  11:00 to 1:30maybe 2 or 3 shifts..... all grades done on the same day thru lunches.

ONLY 175 yearbooks left!! Yearbooks are AVAILABLE TO ORDER for $40!!! Lots of ways to order! Forms are in the front office. Students can see Ms. Murray in Room 2-111 with exact cash or a check payable to NNMS. Or you can order online at our school website under "Yearbook". Yearbooks will be distributed VERY SOON! Get one before they're GONE!
 
SUMMER PHOTOS for the 2018-2019 YEARBOOK!
Remember incoming 6th + students going into 7th and 8th grade - We NEED your SUMMER photos if you want them in the book!!! Upload them to the ReplayIt App or email directly to Ms. Murray, the Yearbook Advisor, at [email protected].
 
Our next big milestone is next year - it's our 15th Yearbook!! It'll be awesome because we're Making H15TORY!!!
Do you have a friend who is coming to NNM next year? Would they like to start getting the Wildcat Wisdom and other communications?

Tracy Galbraith will be leaving NNM after this year! A heartfelt thanks to Tracy for all of her hardwork over the years! Because of her, thousands of little pieces of cardboard have been turned into COLD, HARD CASH for NNM!! 
Her leaving gives YOU the opportunity to do a little something for the school! Would you like to be the next Box Tops Coordinator? Maybe you'd like to do it with a friend? Then you'd have a reason to get together. :)
