CME ACCREDITATION:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) and Wilderness and Travel Medicine, LLC. The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT DESIGNATION:
The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) designates this Live activity for a maximum of 25.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The activity is anticipated to offer up to 23.0 hours of AOA Category 2-A CME credit, pending approval by the AOA.

NURSE CREDIT:
Under the new BRN guidelines, this course is also accredited for up to 25.0 hours of nursing credit.

EMT CREDIT:
National registered EMTs and EMT-Paramedics will receive up to 25.0 hours of continuing education credit.

A dynamic hands-on survival traning program designed to provide attendees with real skills and experience in a short time. Howard Donner, MD, a renowned expedition physician, and Kyle Allred, PA-C, will teach practical and hands-on techniques and demo equipment to help you survive a wilderness survival emergency. This exciting, all day workshop is conducted both in the classroom and outdoors at our local field site.

Limited enrollment, so register early! Topic and experience include basics of travel safety, personal protective clothing, building micro-survival kits, emergency shelter building, building fires, and improvisation skills.
