JUNE WTC REGIONAL TOUR
WTC is planning a Southwest United States site tour through Arizona, Nevada and Southern California.

Wilderness Treatment Center is currently planning a month long southwest facility tour program to take place in June.  We will be visiting inpatient, outpatient and aftercare programs as well as many other contacts through out the region. Please contact us today if you would like us to add your program to our list of stops. We will be finalizing our list by the end of April.

Wilderness Treatment Center is looking for new Addiction Counselors

Wilderness Treatment Center is currently looking for Addiction Counselors at its 60 day inpatient chemical dependency program for young men between 14 and 24. WTC incorporates a 28 day inpatient stay with a 16-21 day wilderness expedition. The responsibilities of the counselor position include participation in 3 to 4 wilderness trips per year 16 to 21 days in length. Group sizes range from 6 to 9 young men. Each trip has two instructors, a counselor and a qualified wilderness instructor. When not on a wilderness trip the counselors' responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, managing a caseload of 6 patients, group therapy, individual therapy and full participation as a member of the clinical team. 


NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Matt Brekke, the eldest son of founders John and 
Nancy Brekke, has returned to WTC.

Wilderness Treatment Center is excited to announce the addition of the newest member to the leadership team. Matt Brekke has recently joined Wilderness Treatment Center as the Director of Operations and is tasked with overall strategic and operational responsibility for the facilities operations, business and marketing initiatives. As the Operations Director he will provide leadership to the company's strategic planning process and is accountable for developing and implementing new programmatic initiatives to ensure the continued success of the organization.
