JULY 2017
Saving the outdoors in southeastern New Hampshire
Wildlife, Water, and Woods
These past few weeks our Land Conservation team has been busy finishing several important projects across SELT's service area including lands in Barrington, Dover, Rollinsford, Londonderry, and Nottingham.
All of these projects provide significant protection for wildlife habitat and water quality, as well as public access.
Bodwell Farm Update
Got milk? Bodwell Farm sure does! With its happy cows and lush pastures, this farm maintains a window into New England’s agrarian past. Now one of only five commercial dairies remaining in all of Rockingham County, SELT is working with the Bodwell family to conserve the farm. With less than $59,000 left to raise to complete this project, we are asking area residents to pitch in and help.

SELT Welcomes New Board Member and New Board President
At our Annual Conservation Celebration on June 14th, SELT members voted in a new member to the Board of Directors, as well as a new President.  We recognized and thanked the outgoing President and three outgoing Board members for their dedicated service to SELT over the years. We welcome Rob Wofchuck to the Board, and Sam Reid as our new President!
SELT Seeking Donated Truck
Do you own a used pick-up truck that you are thinking of selling or trading in? Consider donating it to SELT! We are in need of a truck to support our trail maintenance and property management. The ideal truck would have an 8' bed and less than 75,000 miles. To discuss possibilities please contact Beverly Shadley, Deputy Director, at 603-778-6088.
