Who's reading Venom Inc.? Actually who's been keeping up with the Venom saga over-all? Marvel's premiere symbiote has gone through a lot of changes over the last decade since it was separated from the terminally ill Eddie Brock. It became briefly utilized by Mac Gargan / Scorpion while working on Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers team. When that went sour the government started a program of using it as a battle suit assigning it to Spidey's old pal Flash Thompson as Agent Venom. Flash took it into space teaming with the Guardians of the Galaxy and then joining up with a galactic police force of sorts manned by Venom symbiotes and their hosts. At this point the Venom symbiote gained a level of skill capable of acting and speaking as a separate entity from it's host. Some adventures later the two return to earth , but the symbiote is separated from Flash and ends up on a self serving thug named Lee Price. The symbiote now acting with an idealistic good guy conscience had to be coerced by price to do his darker bidding and made for a unbalanced pairing. When the reinvigorated Eddie Brock relocated it, the symbiote quickly jumped ship and rebounded with Brock. However Brock's body chemistry had been changed by the method in which he'd been cured ( he had become anti-venom for a time ) and the inter-action wrecked havoc on the symbiote making it more like it's original beastial incarnation. A stabilizing drug was designed as a measure of control and Brock continued his return as the Lethal Protector. 

 

Believe me I'm leaving out a bunch of detail here, but you can see a lot has gone down. 

 

So with the status quo back in place we start a new chapter with the Venom Inc. storyline with Eddie back in tentative control of the symbiote, but with Flash looking to retrieve it and Price behind the scenes setting up a major operation that's sure to cause problems. Venom Inc. does not disappoint with lots of twists and turns and the return to what we truly enjoyed about all things Venom.
