Wild Time Hot Pick!

Aquaman #39
Batman #53
Green Lanterns #53
Injustice 2 #32

Hey Folks ,

The second issue ( we still have some #1's ) of Marvel's Infinity Wars hits the shelves this week and I'd say that things are heating up but, after you've taken out one of the most powerful and feared beings in the universe where do you go from there? Answer: you take out anyone else that gets in your way. Yeah we know you've had your fill of all these seemingly endless mega-stories but, this one is looking to incorporate some interesting ideas. Aside from the simple main story which in and of itself should prove entertaining, Marvel is throwing in some fun with mash-ups of many mainstay characters. Save some reading time for the infinity WARPS specials. You'll be glad you did.

Spiders, Spiders everywhere ( not exactly something you want to imagine ) meaning EDGE of SPIDER-GEDDON begins this week and as the title implies it's another multi-versal story featuring many of those other Spider-man variations getting preyed upon by that insidious dimension hopping family of spider avatar killers that plagued them a few years back leaving us with such notable new characters as SILK and SPIDER-GWEN ( now Ghost-Spider ).

Also not having a good day are the mutants as the EXTERMINATION ( 6 issue mini-series ) kicks off this week wrecking havoc within the mutant community as the future attempts to eradicate the past to eliminate the future ... um, yeah o.k. it's not the most original X-Men story concept, but it ushers in a new streamlining of the x-universe and the return of Uncanny X-Men title. It'll be dark and nasty and full of mayhem. Sounds good.

Other notables this week include Thor, Harley Quinn, Batman, Green Lanterns, Deadpool: Assassin, Aquaman, Magic Order (Millar world), and Archie meets Batman among the so many titles due out.

Check below and enjoy.

A GREAT BIG
THANK YOU
FROM
Randy and the Wild Time Crew

Astonishing X-Men Annual #1
By:Matthew Rosenberg, Travel Foreman, Rod Reis
Jean Grey and the original X-Men reunite! Following her resurrection, Jean Grey can no longer make sense of her life since becoming an X-Man. Who better to relate to this than Hank McCoy, Warren Worthington III and Bobby Drake? But this reunion will prove bittersweet when they're joined by an unexpected guest...the former Professor Charles Xavier, X! Why has X revealed himself to his former students? And what strange mission does he want to send them on? Rated T+

Batgirl #25
By:Marguerite Bennett, Dan Panosian, Rafael Albuquerque
On her return to Gotham City, family matters force Barbara to confront her complicated relationship with Dick Grayson. But does Dick have time for a heart-to-heart while subbing as Batman when Bruce Wayne is out of action? This extra-sized anniversary issue also offers a look at the next arc of the series by Mairghread Scott and Paul Pelletier as the monstrous villain Grotesque murders wealthy art owners and defiles their bodies to create his own 'art.' And since this is the issue that keeps on giving, also look for a special backup story by Harley Quinn co-creator Paul Dini and artist Emanuela Lupacchino.

Batman #53
By:Tom King, Lee Weeks, Olivier Coipel
'Cold Days' continues! The jury in the Mr. Freeze trial is hopelessly deadlocked because one man won't vote guilty-and that man is Bruce Wayne. Freeze's defense is that Batman used excessive force, making his arrest illegal, and Bruce is the one man who actually knows for sure what went down between Batman and his ice-cold nemesis. And if Bruce is right, that means everything he's devoted himself to as the Caped Crusader is a lie; he is hurting more than helping. With Dick Grayson putting the Batsuit back on to keep Gotham City safe while Bruce is sequestered, could this be the out Bruce needs to discard the cape and cowl forever? The Eisner Award-nominated team of Tom King and Lee Weeks reexamine the relationship between hero and foe, as Batman relives not just that one violent night when he took down the King of Cold, but every time the two have come to blows.

Batwoman #18
By:Marguerite Bennett, Fernando Blanco, Michael Cho
It's the series finale, and there's a lot of drama to resolve for Kate Kane, both in and out of costume. As Batwoman, she teams with Renee Montoya to thwart Clock King's latest time-bending enterprise: selling a drug that allows criminals to know if their crime will be successful-before it's committed. But Batwoman's facing a quandary to boot: Take this drug off the street, or use it herself to stop crime? The only fight tougher is the personal one: Should Kate and Renee give their relationship another chance?

But dark secrets have put the client, and reality itself, in more danger than either of our heroes could have foreseen! David F. Walker, Paco Diaz, and a host of stellar guest artists take Cable and Deadpool on an adventure of epic proportions! Rated T+

By:Gerry Duggan, Mike Deodato, J. G. Jones

The nature of the universe itself hangs in the balance as we learn the answer to the question on everyone's lips since 'Infinity Wars Prime': WHO IS REQUIEM? Gerry Duggan (DEADPOOL, INFINITY COUNTDOWN) and Mike Deodato Jr. (ORIGINAL SIN, OLD MAN LOGAN) look into the Infinite and bring the truth to light! Rated T+

He-Man has come to his mother's home-world to save it from a despotic ruler: Superman! As Batman plans an invasion of the Oracle to stop their suicide squads from terrorizing the populace, He-Man wanders an Earth city (in disguise) hoping to understand more of the difficulty they'll face.
