     Most businesses that do not have a well written business plan under perform financially. Developing a business plan isn't just a paper exercise - it is a vital tool to increase profitability. A well prepared and executed business plan will grow sales, employment and improve the bottom line.

     The 4th Annual Business Plan Contest is open to start-ups as well as existing businesses. You do not have to be a Chamber member to participate. Electronic submissions are due to the Chamber by Friday, April 7th. A panel of judges will select the winner and present the award at a reception on Monday, May 1st - part of Henderson County's Small Business Week.
