March is National Social Workers Month.

As the oldest private, nonprofit social service agency in Monmouth County, FCS is proud of the role social workers have played in helping us fulfill our Mission and Vision. We hired our very first social worker in 1914 when the profession was just getting started.Today we employ 15 full-time social workers in Monmouth and Middlesex counties who assist clients with numerous challenges, from protecting them from abuse, neglect and exploitation, to finding services to enable them to live at home with dignity. They do extraordinary work and we are especially proud of them!
