DONATO WELCOMES CAMPANIA WINEMAKER

Celebrating the bounty of this mountainous southern region of Italy, Donato will prepare an Italian feast to accompany Bruno's wines

WHAT: 

Donato Enoteca will host a celebration for famed Italian winemaker Bruno De Conciliis of Viticoltori De Conciliis Winery for a special dinner Thurseday, May 19. Widely thought of as a trailblazer in Campania, De Conciliis is almost singularly responsible for elevating the native Aglianico and Fiano to internationally-known status and fine-tuning the art of creating beautiful wines in this region. Donato will create a menu of dishes that highlight the bounty of the Campania region and complement each of De Conciliis' wines for the evening.  The region encompasses high altitude mountains and beautiful coastlines, which are perfect grape-growing conditions and Conciliis will be pouring five of his wines to share with guests at the dinner: Selim Spumante, Donna Luna Paestum Fiano, Antece Paestum Fiano, Donna Luna Paestum Aglianico and Naima Paestum Aglianico.
