| With his long-term project "Juvenile-in-Justice", Richard Ross documents the placement and treatment of American juveniles housed by law in facilities that treat, confine, punish, assist and, occasionally, harm them. Approximately 90,000 young people are in detention or correctional facilities at any given day in the United States.
JGS Photography Contest is an ongoing, juried event, presented in quarterly cycles. Participation is free and open to all national and international artists 18 years and older. Next deadline: June 30, 2012 |
