Greetings from the Director
Happy Holidays Yogis! December has come around once again and I usually take this time to wrap up all the things that need to be done before the year ends. However, this year I would simply like to share feelings of gratitude for persevering and overcoming all the trials and tribulations of 2011, whether they were physical injuries, emotional issues or professional changes.
I hope that your yoga practice has helped you to tap into your inner strength to face all the unexpected things that life throws at us. On behalf of all of us at Bikram Yoga Rockville, we are grateful for your presence and support day in and day out, and for being a part of this wonderful yoga community in Rockville.
We are also excited to start the new year with a new schedule, offering 4 additional class times during the winter season. We look forward to sweating with you even more in 2012.

30 Day Challenge - Feb 2012
The Challenge is back! Start gearing up for our February 2012 30 Day Challenge :: 2/1-3/1. Every year, we continue to be inspired by your devotion to yourself, your families and your health.
If you are relatively new to the practice, challenge yourself to get a jump on a new healthy routine. You will be amazed by the changes your body and mind go through when you commit to a regular practice.
For our seasoned practitioners, challenge yourself to an ever evolving practice. As teachers reminds us in class, "less is more". Let go of any habits, patterns, routines you may have developed on your mat and in the hot room over the years. Focus on your breath. In between the postures, practice stillness in the physical body so that you may experience stillness in the mind. Listen to the teacher's dialogue as if it is your very first class. Make it to yoga class, not just for the sake of getting your sticker.

|GOT THE SNIFFLES?|
If you are under the weather, please stay out of the hot room for a few days until you are 100% healthy and no longer sneezing, blowing or coughing. Your fellow yogis and teachers will thank you and you will recover faster as you rest at home.
* Turn cell phones and pagers OFF if you bring them into the yoga room.
* Be free of perfume and cologne.
* Kindly share space with fellow yogis who may have been stuck in traffic.
* After final savasana, leave the room so quietly the person resting next to you does not even notice you have left.
* Keep your mats clean for your health as well as others around you - wash each time you use it.
