Welcome to the Winter 2017 edition of the CBI Newsletter.  We're starting the New Year off right with staff promotions and keeping busy developing some great designs for new projects!
Promotions
Congratulations to Steven Watchorn, AIA & Keith Bouchard, PE
We're thrilled to announce the promotion of Steven Watchorn, AIA and Keith Bouchard, PE to Associates of CBI!  They have consistently performed on the highest levels of our profession while forging strong client relationships.  We are confident that they will anchor a new generation of CBI leadership driving firm growth and superior service.

Steven Watchorn, A.I.A., is a resident of Rockland, Massachusetts and is Chairperson on the Rockland Historical Commission. He joined the company in 2009, has expertise in planning and construction, and has a passion for historic preservation and adaptive reuse. His skills have revived many historic buildings such as Barnstable's Historic Coast Guard Heritage Museum, Springfield's Historic Forest Park Library, Historic Brook School Apartments in Weston, Historic Lowell City Hall, and the Historic Chatham Railroad Museum. Mr. Watchorn is currently working on various renovation projects for public schools in New Bedford and Stoughton. Steven is a LEED accredited professional and applies sustainable solutions to every project in order to maximize resources, save energy, and increase the comfort of the building users.
Keith M. Bouchard, P.E., SECB
Twelve years ago, Keith Bouchard, P.E. of Salem, NH, joined CBI's Engineering Division as an intern and never veered off path to the position as a Senior Structural Engineer. Mr. Bouchard is well versed in the design of a variety of materials from structural steel to structural glass, and in the current building and materials codes.  His detail-oriented approach leads to the creation of clear, concise drawings and reports that exceed Client's needs while addressing repairs, reuse, and new construction. Keith excels at providing practical solutions for unique structural problems. Notable projects include the rebuilding the historic Hancock School Condominiums in Lextington and Esteves Hall structural repairs at Harvard Business School.  Keith also provided the structural design for a new GHESKIO Tuberculosis Hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, the original which was devastated in the 2010 earthquake. He is currently designing the $10m restoration of the Pearl-Elm Municipal Parking Facility in Worcester.  
Recently Completed
CBI recently completed full siding replacement at the Historic Hull Public Library.  The Cedar wood shingles had deteriorated and the exterior needed to be restored.  Learn more here!
