Return of Winter-Spring Events Contest!
Contest call for concepts
The Downtown Improvement District will once again be offering its Winter-Spring events contest
which invites businesses, organizations, and individuals to submit their best ideas for events in February, March, or April, 2019 for a chance to receive production support. Winning events will be awarded funding, as well an event consultation session.
Looking for something to do after the winter thaw? Get outside for Fort Wayne's FIRST festival of the season at Headwaters Park -- the Michiana Wine Festival! It's a weekend jam-packed with events to kick off the spring.
Through numerous aerial, business and street level views; the Downtown 360 virtual tour connects retail and restaurant locations, as well as cultural and parking information into an easy to navigate and visually stunning super tour that will allow you to explore and plan your next visit to Downtown from virtually anywhere!
Their Saturday morning guided hikes are back with a couple of early bird hikes thrown in for early risers. Each hike will have a different focus that highlights our local ecology while connecting to broader lessons in biology.
