Milestone Wins First Competitively Procured Contract in NC
Milestone finalized an agreement in early December to market locations in New Hanover County, NC for possible telecommunications infrastructure development. The seven-year agreement includes 170 sites to be considered by wireless carriers for tower installations where network coverage or capacity gaps exist. New towers will also generate revenue for the County.

The agreement continues Milestone's expansion into North Carolina, and marks the company's first competitively procured contract in the state.

Milestone to Market Cell Tower Sites in Fauquier County, VA
Milestone has executed an agreement with Fauquier County Public Schools to market school sites as possible cell tower locations to wireless carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and Shentel.  The School Board voted 5-0 to engage Milestone to promote the sites for monopole installations. Any potential site would also need  approval from the School Board and the County Board of Supervisors.

"While there are still plenty of details to work through, this was a great decision by our School Board," said Dr.  David Jeck, Superintendent of Fauquier County Schools. "We have plenty of school communities with wireless 'dead zones,' so this is welcomed news."

Installation of towers on school property will create revenue-generating opportunities for Fauquier's public school system.

The pad portion of the foundation was completed for the new tower at the Vista Woods Water Tank on Mountain View Road in Stafford, VA. This lattice tower is expected to be constructed in mid-January.
