Second Marquee Tower Goes Up
Tower at Parkside High School is Stacked

Milestone is developing a 105' "marquee" cell tower at the Parkside High School in Wicomico County, MD. The tower has been successfully stacked and is ready for paneling. The tower represents Milestone's second sign marquee ever, after
Corkran Middle School A marquee tower is a three-legged design in which the wireless carrier equipment is hidden behind panels which can be used for other purposes like signage or clocks.

Welcome David Goldsmith!
David Goldsmith
We are pleased to welcome David Goldsmith to the Milestone team as our new Development Associate. David supports Milestone Project and Development Managers with everything from site selection through the permitting of a project. He collaborates with all members of our development team to ensure the many steps necessary for a project are being completed and projects are moving forward. He also works regularly with our land owners and consultants, facilitating community outreach, and helping come up with solutions to any issues that arise.

Milestone Executes
Halifax Agreement
Milestone has signed a five-year marketing and lease agreement with Halifax County Public Schools in Virginia. Milestone will  market sites to wireless providers as possible locations for cell towers and negotiate site lease agreements should a carrier become interested in specific properties. 

The agreement involves school and learning center properties in the Virginia towns and communities of Scottsburg, South Boston, Alton, Halifax and Nathalie.

Milestone will manage our transparent community outreach programs to inform area residents of the status any proposed cell tower locations.
Out and About
Len Forkas at WIA
Milestone President, Len Forkas, recently delivered a presentation on leadership to the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA). The WIA represents the companies that make up the wireless infrastructure industry in the United States. The organization works to support the widespread deployment of that infrastructure in order to deliver broadband access to all citizens and communities.

Clifton Creek Substation
The foundation at Clifton Creek.
The foundation for the tower at the Clifton Creek Substation in Clifton, VA has been completed. The tower is scheduled to be erected during the first week of August.  View more pics >>
