Milestone Breaks Ground On
First Florida Wireless Site

Milestone held a groundbreaking ceremony with Charlotte County Public Schools at their Lemon Bay High School campus. This marks the construction of the company's first wireless cell tower in Florida. The School Board of Charlotte County was present for the ceremony, along with Jerry Olivo, Assistant Superintendent for District Support Services, Bob Bedford, Lemon Bay High School's Principal, and Jennifer Bond, Director of Business Development for Milestone Communications.

Marketing Agreement Signed with Albemarle County Public Schools
Milestone has just completed a Marketing Agreement with Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) in Virginia. Executed on March 26th, the agreement will allow Milestone to market ACPS locations to wireless carriers as possible cell tower locations. The ten-year agreement includes possible locations at 16 elementary schools, five middle schools, four high schools, and eight other locations including a public charter school and several academies.
Milestone Launches New Website

Milestone has launched a new mobile-friendly website! The responsive design greatly improves user experience on phones and tablets while providing clear, concise content throughout.

Milestone met with Frederick County Government officials at the Public Safety Training Facility tower site, where they presented them with a check for $25,000 as a one-time site fee per their agreement. Frederick County will also receive 40% of all gross revenue generated from carriers on the tower. 

New Team Members
We are pleased to welcome new faces to the Milestone team! 

Adaora Azubike joins as Assistant Controller   to oversee all accounting, reporting, audit requirements as well as the AR and AP functions. She is an active alumni of the INROADS society which is an organization that prepares minority youth for careers in the finance/corporate fields.

Savannah White will oversee all daily office operations and provide assistance to other departments as needed. She is a large advocate for non-profits and is excited to be joining as a volunteer for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue.

Project Update: New Tower in Service

The tower at the Vista Woods Water Tank on Mountain View Road in Stafford, VA is complete, with Verizon equipment installed. The project is a result of Milestone's Master Lease Agreement with Stafford County, executed in April of last year. The 180' lattice tower is Milestone's second project in Stafford County.
