What she says about herself

"I grew up around horses, chickens, cats, dogs, cows and of course, people. One of my fondest memories was riding our Old English Sheepdog, Josh, through the house. I was four.

My past has molded me into who I am today. I owned a graphic design studio, had a candle and jewelry business, taught elementary and high school art for 15 years, and played for a bunch of years in a really great steel drum band. And then, I got a puppy.
In the winter of 2001 I was blessed with an exuberant little Plott Hound puppy named Java who needed more support than I knew how to give. Java had concerns around dogs, cats and sometimes people, and I was at a loss. In the Spring of 2002, I found my way to my first Tellington TTouch® Training in MN, which changed the course of my life. From that moment on, I jumped into TTouch with both feet (and all of my heart!), and I trained, learned and grew. Tellington TTouch® has made an incredible impact on my work with animals and people, and has allowed me to expand in many ways. Java is the reason I do what I do, and I look forward to having the opportunity to share this wonderful work with you.
I'm a longtime Madison, WI native who made my way to St. Paul, MN for 11 years, and most recently on to Northern California to warm up. I live amidst the Redwoods with my heartner, James, where we enjoy being in nature, breathing in the ocean, being with people, being with animals, connecting, learning and growing together and separately.  I also love cooking, drumming, dancing, playing and laughing! I feel grateful to love what I do, and to do what I love.
I look forward to walking this journey together." ~ Sage
