Dear Parents,

It was a great opening day!  The energy and enthusiasm was contagious as the children arrived by bus and car to the welcoming sounds of our bagpiper.

I wish everyone many blessings during this new school year as we learn and work together, and discover and share our many strengths in this Catholic community.

Blessings,
Kathy O'Reilly

Support the Annual Fund
New this year - donate online

Instead of having our children and parents participate in fundraising projects that raise more for the companies sponsoring the sale than for our school, an Annual Fund donation by each family supports the efforts of Home & School at Saint Brigid of Kildare. Each dollar raised goes directly to school projects and improvement. Because of this, we will never ask you or your children to sell items door to door to raise money for our school.

The Annual Fund supports the efforts of our Home & School, including welcome and tours, artists and authors in the school, class parties, class field trips, teacher appreciation, playground supplies, student organizations (ALSO programs), school musicals, new  family welcome, classroom wish lists and the teacher education fund, among others.

The general suggested request is $100 per student in order to meet the needs of the school programs the fund supports. However, any amount is appreciated.

New this year: Donate to the Annual Fund online
Your early contribution to the fund is appreciated as some school programs begin at the start of the school year. Click below to make your annual donation online.

The Scouting program teaches youth to be good citizens of their community, to be responsible to their families and reverent to God in a "Fun with a Purpose" atmosphere.

Parent Like a Champion Today Training
For all sports parents

The Diocese Recreation Association (DRA) has implemented  Parent Like A Champion Today training for all of this year's 4th - 8th grade sports parents which supports parents as the primary educators of their children, especially in their faith.  This is accomplished by providing parents with a sports workshop which teaches them strategies to be champion sports parents in their attitude and behaviors and enables them to positively partner with their children's coaches.

All parents will need to complete the training before their child can participate in DRA sports programs.
