Dear Parents,

Tomorrow we celebrate the feast day of St. Brigid.  The day will begin with 9:00 am Mass including our favorite Saint Brigid hymns and the Irish Blessing song.  To make the feast day even more special our new handbell choir has prepared a special prelude.  Our day concludes with festive parties planned by our room parents.  If you would like to learn more about the life of our Saint Brigid please click on the link below to view a short video about her life.

Is It a Cold or the Flu??

We have noticed a rise in cases of Influenza (the Flu) at St. Brigid this week. Along with this rise has been the rise in the question... "Is it the Flu or a Cold?" The following graphic may provide some help when determining why you and your children are feeling so poorly.  Class and grade level notices will be sent via Schoolspeak to notify parents about cases of the Flu as well as other Communicable diseases (Strep, Conjunctivitis, etc.).

Contact the Health Office to report a diagnosed case of these diseases. As a side note, all students will be receiving a hand washing reminder lesson during homeroom this week. Hand washing remains our best defense!
