Dear Parents,

Last Saturday evening we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our "Corks For A Cause" event.  The event was made extra special to celebrate this milestone anniversary and to celebrate the many blessings that our SPICE program has brought to our parish. The generosity of so many people was evident not only at the event, but is evident with the ongoing dedication of serving the specialized needs of the children in our parish. The gifts have come in the form of time, talent, donations, in-kind gifts, creativity, networking, sponsorships, tutoring, and volunteering.  A special thank you to the committee chaired by Karen Steinbrunner and Laura Farnham with the assistance of Sarah Moore and Allie Wing.  I would also like to recognize Tom and Annlea Rumfola, the first chairs of our SPICE committee.  Tom and Annlea shared their story at the Corks event with a beautiful video.  If you were not able to attend the event and would like to watch the videos that were shared during the evening, you will find them in the story below.

Please keep in mind that the fourth grade Reconciliation Retreat is being held this Saturday,  March 11th from  10am-12pm at St Brigid School and Church.  Please contact Tina White for more information at  twhite@stbrigidofkildare.org  or  614.761.1176

Lenten Blessings,

Kathy O'Reilly

New Garden Stations of the Cross

We have a new addition to our school gardens! In the alcove outside of the St. Francis Room, you will see our new outdoor stations of the cross.  These stations were donated by a family who loves our school and want our students to grow closer to God every day.  Once the weather is nice, students will be able to go outside and walk the stations as a class.  We will also be working on adding flowers so that the whole area becomes a beautiful garden with the stations of the cross as the centerpiece.  In your prayers today, please say a prayer of thanks for this family who gave our school such a beautiful way to start this Lenten season.
