The supports and services we provide for women and children affected by abuse help them make changes that can transform their lives.
SOWINS' new motto is Choosing Change and we have applied it through renewal of our branding, web-site and strategic vision; changing our office location and creating two events from the annual Women Front & Centre Fundraising Gala: Women Front & Centre luncheon March 16th and SOWINS' Fundraising Gala May 10th; hence the theme Celebrating Change & Transformation ... an invitation to recognize our capacity to make choices that change and transform our lives.
Men and Women! Invite a special woman guest to lunch at the beautiful Frog City Caf� at Linden Gardens in Kaleden!
Playfully picking up on the Women Front & Centre Awards, special guests will be recognized - anonymously. Hosts will write a sentence or phrase sharing what they admire about their guest with a focus on change and transformation. After settling in and socializing, a random selection of the statements will be read, followed by lunch at 12:30 followed by speaker Jo Dibblee.

Our Guest Speaker
 Author Jo Dibblee's recent book Frock Off: Living Undisguised is a memoir about the power of blind optimism in the face of adversity, poverty, tragedy, neglect, rejection, assault and betrayal.
It is a story about change and transformation. Jo's interactive presentation will provide the inspiration, energy, engagement and tools for each of us to begin the process of recognizing and removing the frocks that limit our lives.
