Hello Ladies!
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for registering to attend this year's Women in NECA Leadership Summit in Chicago next Friday and Saturday. If you haven't registered yet, there's still time! We have a lot to be excited about - this year's Summit is shaping up to our largest event since we started the group, and several NECA women will be joining us for the first time!
Since Tricia Ferry and I proposed the idea of women's group within NECA to President Rex Ferry a few years ago, we've been amazed at how many women have rapidly moved from the fringes of our industry to the center of the action. It's undeniable that electrical contracting has been rapidly changing during this time as well. Our goal with Women in NECA is to bring these two trends together in a way that empowers our individual goals for professional growth and works to make our industry and NECA stronger.
The WIN Summit is your conference - an opportunity to share information, experiences and encouragement so we can all work to achieve our goals and dreams. If there are stumbling blocks for achieving empowerment for women in our industry, the Summit can also serve as an open forum to address those issues.
We've got a lot of ground to cover in Chicago, so I've included the full Summit program with descriptions of the sessions and bios from all the presenters. If you've got questions about any of the sessions or Summit schedule, feel free to email or call Beth Margulies at NECA's national office, beth.margulies@necanet.org, 301-215-4526.
Can't wait to see you in Chicago!
