New Look for the Women's Fund

You may have noticed that the Women's Fund has a new look. Not only have we refreshed our logos, but we also have a brand new website! Please visit and take a look around. As always, you will be able to find research on women's and girls' issues, access resources for philanthropists, learn about our grantmaking and find dates for upcoming events.  

Women's Fund Total Grantmaking Exceeds 1.2 Million -
$87,000 in New Grants Announced on May 3

The Women's Fund proudly announced $87,000 in grants on May 3 at Pullman's Waterfront Banquets. With your support, the Women's Fund has now exceeded $1.2 million in total grantmaking and has funded 204 programs within 80 different organizations! Thank you to our donors, committee members, volunteers and nonprofit organizations for working together to create a stronger, healthier and more equitable community for women and girls in the Fox Valley. 
Economic Security Project Grants 

The Women's Fund proudly announces grants totaling $57,500 for the following programs and agencies to improve the economic security for  young women between the ages of 18 and 29.

Mental Health Project Grants 

The Women's Fund proudly announces grants totaling $16,500 for the following programs and agencies to address mental health concerns for women and girls in the Fox Valley Region.

Thank you to the J. J Keller Foundation for providing $15,000 for mental health grantmaking through a challenge grant.

Girls' Grantmaking Project 

Girls from Freedom, Little Chute, Kaukauna and Kimberly high schools met for a two-day leadership training, community education, and grantmaking program. The girls identified violence against women and girls and access to economic opportunities as issues important to them and their peers. At the end of the program, they awarded $10,000 in grants to the following programs:

Athena Scholars Announced

The Women's Fund is privileged to work with recipients of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Athena Award. The Athena Award Winners Giving Circle Fund provides tuition assistance grants to Fox Valley Technical College, UW-Fox Valley and UW-Oshkosh to improve the long-term financial security of women in the community by supporting education leading to increased income.

We are pleased to announce $3,000 in tuition assistance to the following individuals and institutions:
  • Fox Valley Technical College: Amber Stanzak $1,000
  • UW-Fox Valley: Sydney Koch  $1,000
  • UW-Oshkosh: Diana Enciso  $1,000
