Dear Parents and Guardians,
Just a reminder that
Open House/Curriculum Night has been rescheduled for Thursday,
September 13th.
The 5th grade will present at 6:30, Specials will present at 7:15, and
6th grade will present at 7:45.
During Open House/Curriculum Night be sure to stop by the Main Gym to participate in a Gallery Walk for Woodbury's Clubs and Activities. We offer many fun activities for students to participate in during lunch and after school. Students who stay for an activity, and are bus riders, may ride the late bus which leaves at 4:00 p.m. You can view a complete list of our clubs and activities at
www.shaker.org
and go to Woodbury's web page.
The Lunch Bunch Activities have begun as well, please speak with your child about which activities they would like to participate in and encourage them to go to the activities. This is a great way to have fun during lunch recess, hang out with friends, and meet new friends! You will find the Lunch Bunch posted on the Woodbury homepage under School Communications.
We look forward to seeing everyone next week so you can hear about all the wonderful learning experiences for your son or daughter this year!
We have started
MAP
Assessments this week. I'm sure your child's teacher has listed the dates that they will be testing in their weekly communication or their Friday Folders. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a balanced breakfast.
Thank you for another great week at Woodbury Elementary School!
Always believe!!

DRAMA CLUB COMING SOON!
Drama Club News
We had a great turnout at each of our meetings this week! If you were unable to attend, please see an advisor to get a contract. They will also be available in the office and on Woodbury's home page.
Some things to remember:
- ALL contracts are due September 11. There will be no exceptions due to the large size of our group.
- Actors must sign up for an audition (by the nurse's office) by September 13. Actors need to learn the monologue from the contract and sing a song of their choosing.
- Set Design meets on Wednesdays
- We will make an announcement when we have finished our cast list. Rehearsals will start after that.
- Always listen for announcements in the morning - it's the easiest way for us to communicate with everyone at once.
