Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope everyone enjoyed Open House/Curriculum Night this week. We have an amazing staff that works hard to provide our students a wonderful experience at Woodbury Elementary School. It is going to be a great school year!
When you think of parent involvement, do your picture moms and dads volunteering in classrooms? That's one way to help, but research shows that supporting your child's education at home is even more important. Here is a tip to help you stay involved. Ask your son or daughter,
"Let's see what you brought home
. Look at completed work to find out what your youngster is learning and how well he or she is doing. You could comment on his or her Individuals and Societies report or pottery project, for instance. ("
You know a lot about our state's history!
) Also, respond to notes from your child's teacher, and sign your child's weekly folder or daily planner if required.
Thank you for another great week at Woodbury Elementary School!
Always believe!!
D. Young,
Principal

Opening Ceremonies are Friday, September 28th,

At this time, we are focusing on soliciting prize donations for classroom winners. If you know of a local business that may be interested in sponsoring a prize for this event or you are interested in helping solicit prizes, please contact
