5 Exercises to Prevent an Aching Neck

One of the things many of us take for granted is a pain-free neck. It's only when we have a stiff or painful neck that we wish we had taken preventive measures. Mural to Celebrate Woodstock's Cultural Legends
The Woodstock on Film and on the Stage Mural, concept by City Councilman RB Thompson and artistically rendered by Michael Standard and One Zero Charlie graphic design, is planned for the Main Street Pedway in downtown Woodstock.  Major contributions have been made by Classic Cinemas/Woodstock Theatre and McHenry County Community Foundation, with Friends of the Opera House serving as a banking affiliate.  Fundraising is ongoing with work on wall preparation planned for spring and mural painting by summer's end.  To donate, or for more information, visit woodstockmural.org.

MCDOT Charles Road @ Raffel Road Roundabout Construction

The McHenry County Department of Transportation is addressing the high number of accidents at the intersection of Raffel Road and Charles Road, north of Woodstock North High School, by constructing the area's first roundabout. Charles Road, between Greenwood Road and Route 47, will be closed for this construction throughout the summer.   MCDOT has placed signs notifying drivers of the impending construction at Raffel Road and IL Route 120 and along Raffel Road up to Charles Road.
