SPOTLIGHT GRADUATE
Martin Santo Cordero

Certified Life Coach
(LCIA Graduate - June 2014 in  Austin, TX)

The Life Coaching Institute of America (LCIA) Certification and Graduate Advanced Training Classes was life changing.  My mentors and the Co-founders of LCIA Gina Barritt and Leslie Schultz have provided me with a skill set that has jump-started a practice that is now thriving and exciting. Throughout the certification process, the Philosophies of Motivational Interviewing kept me engaged and tuned in.  To my surprise, I had been using these principles before having formal training and prior to receiving my Life Coach certification. The only difference was that now I was getting thorough, well-researched and a finely-presented version of the methods. Listening, studying, and practicing these principles with Gina, Leslie and the others in attendance, validated a practice I could continue to use and to facilitate in helping potential clients.

I am now a Creativity Coach who aids artists and non-artists alike with Performance and Personal Development concerns.  I help individuals with issues of self-doubt, lack of motivation/direction that can create blocks.  My work helps to expand the personal and creative potential of the client so they may feel successful in their endeavors.

My practice aims to create big changes in the lives of my clients. Together we work to discover, strategize and design their goals/objectives. I aid in breaking down the goals into the steps needed to achieve their desired results.

I believe that when habits and daily rituals are aligned with the individual's values, beliefs, and vision, a powerful catalyst can be created to elicit personal and professional change(s).
