Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church
Worship Focus for September 16
Rev. Karin Kennedy Hejmanowski, preaching
Greetings!

What a joy it will be to worship together again this Sunday. As we seek to reenter old routines or create new ones at this start of a new school year, it is a perfect time to recommit to worshiping together. Worship is an act of joy and of obedience to the Lord we seek to know and follow.

This week we look forward to having our children with us for the first part of worship. They’ll be present as we dedicate those who teach at all levels in our church, helping us in this way to fulfill the vows we take not just at the baptism of our children, but when we receive folks into membership.

I also hope you'll plan to join us at 11 a.m. for our congregational meeting, which immediately follows the 10 a.m. service. We will elect our church officers, representatives for next year's nominating committee, and members of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee.

Until then, let us seek to serve God as we are scattered throughout the week, knowing that when we come together, we have the opportunity to refocus and prepare to go again into our world to make a difference.

See you soon!

Peace,
Karin
