"Every night, list five things
that you are grateful for.
It will change your perspective
of your day and your life."
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude is one of the best ways to be happier and more successful. Peak performance expert Tony Robbins said, "When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears."
When I speak about
Expressing Thanks, which is the final step in the "CRAVE Your Goals!" formula, I recommend five ways to do it, like writing in a gratitude journal a few nights a week before going to sleep.
While this is a powerful practice, we sometimes need a little extra prompting.
I just discovered Happy Rambles, a free, online service that sends a daily "What are you grateful for today?" email. Reply with three to five things and your answers are stored in your own private, online gratitude journal. The email also includes a random entry from your journal as a happy reminder. You can set it for a specific time and choose the days you'll receive the email.
I just signed up and intend to respond every day for the next month. Then, I'll report back on my experience. If you'd like to join me in this awareness-raising ritual, you can sign up at HappyRambles.com.
Share your gratitude "aha's!" on my Facebook Page or reply back to me. I love hearing from you!
