Dear Saint,

2011: Year of Double Portion

The Lord reigns; let all the earth rejoice.  He has done great and marvelous things and we are awed by His unfailing love for us.  Though there might have been several hurdles to overcome, bridges to cross and victories to be won, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was always with us to accomplish His purpose.

By divine inspiration the year 2011 shall be a year of double portion in Jesus' name.
In response to Elijah before his departure, Elisha requested: "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit" (2 Kings 2:9).  Like a first born amongst the sons of the prophet he eagerly desired to possess the mandate to lead.

In 2011, may you also inherit a double portion:
                 Anointing
                 Blessing &
                 Creativity

Just like Isaiah prophesied, so I declare to you

Instead of your shame

you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours. (61:7)

Happy New Year

Set Goals; Change Your Life & Celebrate!
By Zig Ziglar
Studies tell us that only 3% of people in the USA set goals, and they are among the wealthiest people in the nation! Worldwide the percentage is probably lower. Why so low? There are several reasons, but the one that concerns me the most is lack of know-how. When we ask people why they don't set goals they often say, "I don't know how."

Isn't that remarkable? We send children to school for 12 years in America before they graduate from high school. Many of them go on to trade schools, colleges and universities. We teach them many important disciplines including history, economics, literature, science, and so forth, but we miss one critically important skill: goal setting. We award them their degrees, pat them on their backs, and send them into the world full of wisdom, but ill-prepared, almost always, to design and pursue the lives they really want.

And all that's required to change this deficiency is a single semester, even half a semester, devoted to teaching goal setting. It doesn't seem likely that we're going to change the American educational system any time soon, or the world's educational system, but that's not going to stop me from teaching you how to set goals.

The letters and phone calls that I receive are social proof that our goal setting programs work. I know that goal setting will help you change your life for the better, it will help you get what you really want from life. And when you do, that's reason for all of us to celebrate! Whether you're already a goal setter, you used to set goals and quit, or you've never set goals, this lesson will help you build a better life.

Shocking Statistics
Biggest Gamers

Men between the ages of 18 and 34 are now the biggest gamers; according to Nielsen Media, almost half-48.2 percent-of American males in that age bracket had used a console during the last quarter of 2006, and did so, on average, two hours and 43 minutes per day. (That's 13 minutes longer than 12 to 17-year-olds, who evidently have more responsibilities than today'.

Christmas Present

It was the day after Christmas at a church in San Francisco. Pastor Mike was looking at the nativity scene outside when he noticed the baby Jesus was missing from the figures.

Immediately, Pastor Mike turned towards the church to call the police. But as he was about to do so, he saw little Jimmy with a red wagon, and in the wagon was the figure of the little infant, Jesus.
