Dear Saint,

Dominion over Darkness

There is an old Pentecostal song we use to sing with the following lyrics:

The light of the world is Jesus

The light of the world is Jesus

He is calling everyone, to come and see the light

The light of the world is Jesus.

In our world today, as people seek for meaning to their spiritual existence, many have fallen victim to satanism, occultism, demonic activities, witchcraft, divination and even the worship of the dead and anything devilish.

Jesus said:" I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12).

Let us be vigilant during this period as the system of this world and the economic giants promote and profit from the ignorance of many to exalt symbols of the dead, demons and the devil.

Our Lord is a jealous God.

Exercising dominion,

Dads Hug Your Daughters
By Zig Ziglar

Unfortunately, many men are uncomfortable with their daughters as they begin to mature physically. They refrain from hugging and embracing them and their relationships become more distant. At the most critical time of a daughter's life, when her need for fatherly affection is at its peak, her dad backs away from his little girl. She no longer feels like the apple of his eye. Now she's set adrift. Unfortunately, at that precise moment, "Hormones Harry," who is two or three years older, is set to make his move. That's tragic.

Let me encourage you, Dad, to continue that relationship with your little girl. Spend more time, not less, with your daughter as she grows up. Talk to her more, if she's willing (many of them are not); give her more affection, not less. I'm obviously talking about appropriate fatherly affection. She needs to have her confidence and self-image bolstered and your attention and unconditional love are crucial. In addition, at that stage of her life she often feels that she's "different" and unattractive. The records clearly indicate that the father who is affectionate and treats his daughter with respect and love, produces a daughter who is substantially less promiscuous than the young girl whose father backs away from her as she "grows up." Shocking Statistics
What Makes a Woman Beautiful?

In 2010, over 5,000 U.S. women were asked to identify what makes a woman beautiful. Of those surveyed:

  • Eighty-seven percent said self-confidence
  • Eighty-two percent said a positive outlook on life
  • Seventy-nine percent said an upbeat personality

Where is God

A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that, if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved.

They boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon.

The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?"Read more...
