World Hepatitis Day (WHD) is celebrated around the globe on July 28th, 2017. It is a day dedicated to spreading awareness about hepatitis by promoting testing for hepatitis B and C, and vaccination for hepatitis A and B. World Hepatitis Day aims to build momentum towards the elimination of hepatitis by 2030 as stated within the World Health Organization report
Here is how your organization can help support World Hepatitis Day this year: participating in the World Hepatitis Alliance #ShowYourFace campaign, participate in one of the WHD events that can be found here and by spreading awareness on social media. HBU -Philadelphia will be in Washington, D.C. to advocate for hepatitis B at the Hep B United Summit.

Our #justB Storytelling Campaign is a national effort to bring individuals affected by hepatitis B to share their stories to shed light on this serious disease, decrease stigma, discrimination, and promote the importance of testing and treatment for hepatitis B.
