World Hepatitis Day
July 28th, 2017
World Hepatitis Day (WHD) is celebrated around the globe on July 28th, 2017. It is a day dedicated to spreading awareness about hepatitis by promoting testing for hepatitis B and C, and vaccination for hepatitis A and B.  World Hepatitis Day aims to build momentum towards the elimination of hepatitis by 2030 as stated within the World Health Organization report .

Here is how your organization can help support World Hepatitis Day this year: participating in the World Hepatitis Alliance #ShowYourFace campaign, participate in one of the WHD events that can be found here and by spreading awareness on social media. HBU -Philadelphia will be in Washington, D.C. to advocate for hepatitis B at the Hep B United Summit.
