World Chicago

Greetings!:

April Homestay Hosting Opportunities
Make your New Year's resolution to be a homestay host this year!  WorldChicago is looking forward to a very busy and exciting April as we will be host to many short-term homestay based visitor programs.  Please see our programs below and join us as a host!

Host a High School Student from Kyrgyzstan This Semester!

Our student is a friendly, out-going and energetic 17 year old guy.  He enjoys horseback riding and cooking with his family. At school, his favorite subjects are mathematics and English. Outside school, he is involved in soccer, aikido, and modern dance. He enjoys listening to American pop and classical music, and he enjoys reading mystery novels. His only international travel experience includes Russia, so he is very excited to be living in Chicago this year!

This student is currently living with a temporary host family in the area and attending Taft High School in Norwood Park.  If interested in hosting him for the rest of the school year, and learning about his fascinating country and culture while showcasing ours, please contact Maria Krasinski at mkrasinski@worldchicago.org or (312) 254-1800 x102.
