Can you join in the effort to thank FALA's teachers and staff?
Thank you to all of you who have donated so far toward our thank you bonus for FALA teachers and staff. You've seen students working on the two FALA murals this year and we're happy to report that they're finished! Both took a lot of work, but the mural over the art patio definitely took a committed effort to complete. Most days, we saw Asha Ryan and Lani Weiss painstakingly creating that magnificent mural that will be enjoyed by students, parents, and staff for many years to come.
Thank you to all the students involved with continually making our campus more interesting and beautiful!

FALA's Solar System
As many of you know, FALA installed solar panels last August. This system produces about 82% of our energy. Teaming up with local installers Rooftop Solar and local investors, FALA was able to install this system for ZERO out of pocket costs, and started saving on energy costs in the first year. We will pay off the cost of the system for less than we would spend on electricity from APS. In fact, over the life of the system, FALA will have saved approximately $400,000, in addition to offsetting more than 3 million lbs of C02!
Rooftop Solar is now offering us two fundraising opportunities. The first has already raised hundreds of dollars! For every new "like" of their Facebook page, Rooftop Solar will donate $1 to FALA. And for every homeowner who mentions "FALA 500" when they schedule a consultation (and who signs a contract by May 31) they'll donate $500 to us!
Both of these offers end after May 31.
You can contact Rooftop Solar via phone or online. 1.800.786.7080
