The mission of MarineParents.com, Inc., is to provide support, information, and services to Marines and their family members, and create opportunities for the public to support our troops through the organization's outreach programs. Our dedicated volunteers put in many hours to help us accomplish our mission. Each volunteer is vital to our sustained success!
MarineParents.com volunteers were very dedicated to our outreach programs and services in 2016. Between all volunteers, there were 42,876.75 volunteer hours recorded last year. That averages out to 824.55 hours per week, which totals out to 21 full time employees. There were 37,134 volunteer hours in Official MarineParents.com Facebook Groups, 4,929.5 hours from our outreach program, Warrior Support Team (WST), as well as 813.25 internal volunteer hours at the Marine Parents Corporate Office.
At Marine Parents, volunteers are the backbone of the organization. Nothing we do would be possible without their dedication to selflessly serve the social networking members, the Marines and military personnel who rely on our services each week on the East and West coast, and those who read the vast amount of detailed and important information we share on our educational websites.
