NEC Foundation Introduces Ocean Campaign

"Just as an ocean is made up of many drops, your contributions, big or small, can make a real difference in the lives of children and families."

Goal is to ask every member who feels inspired, to place a dollar in the container once a month to support the work of The NEC Foundation to help children, families and communities. Of course, you are free to put in more but just a single dollar would be greatly welcomed and when joined with other member's dollars it can go a long way towards expanding programs.

Watch the video.

Anne Bulan: casa Christmas Home Tours and FREE summer help

Two weeks ago, ANNE passed out information regarding the 2012 Christmas Home Tours. For more information, visit http://www.cafb.org/Events/Home-Tour/

Anne also passed out a flyer about free summer help:

"Do YOU want to make a difference in the life of a foster care youth this summer?

Do you have a business in Fort Bend County that you could offer summer employment for youth?

Through a special program, teenagers currently in foster care can work for you this summer - AT NO COST TO YOU! It is so important for our youth to get jobs skills, learn responsibility, and make some money while school is out for the summer. Their earning will be paid for by the HAY Center which provides resources, training, and programming fr youth in foster care.

Some of these youth have worked in attorney's offices, some with lawn services, some as receptionists at car dealerships... and on and on. But there are many youth in Fort Bend County who have yet to find employment.

If you want to make a difference, help a young man or woman, and at no cost, please contact:
