Xorcom in the News

FINALLY...THE NEWS WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!

Xorcom IP-PBX Now Shipping with Elastix 2.2 and Asterisk 1.8

After countless hours of joint development with Palosanto, bug fixing and quality assurance testing, we are now confident enough to start shipping our servers with the updated Elastix and Asterisk versions. Starting immediately, the entire line of Xorcom IP-PBX -- XR1000, XR2000, XR3000, XE2000, XE3000, TS2000 and TS3000 -- will all include Elastix 2.2x, which is based on Asterisk 1.8x. As a result, you can start benefiting from the many great features available in the new Elastix version, including Fail2Ban and Firewall.

For customers who have Xorcom IP-PBX with the previous Elastix version (1.6), we have created detailed instructions for upgrading those appliances to the new version. Contact your local Xorcom representative for information, or check out the instructions personally - they have been
published on our Wiki.

All Xorcom IP-PBX
Getting Started Guides, data sheets and Web catalog pages have been updated accordingly.
