Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I hear there is a football game during the Justin Timberlake concert today! If you are choosing to watch the game, I hope your team wins. Although I am not a huge Eagles fan, that is the team I am choosing to cheer for today! Here's to an exciting game, commercials that make you laugh, and a half time show that entertains!

Remember, if you'd like your child to earn a free ticket to Six Flags this summer, the reading log is due back by February 23. Mrs. Marker will send a receipt home as soon as she receives your child's reading log. If your child returns their log, but you do not find a receipt, feel free to contact her to be sure your child receives the ticket they earned!

A town-hall style State of the District Address will be held on Wednesday, February 7th from 6:30-8 p.m. at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road , on the Learning Stairs. The address will be live streamed, and will also be made available for viewing after the event. Attend or tune in to hear about the status of the school district and to engage in a Q&A between the public and District 115 leadership. The link to view the address online will be posted on the district website at www.y115.org and sent out through the district's social media platforms.

Have a wonderful week!

No problem! If your child needs to leave early from school, please inform the office by sending a note or calling prior to 3pm.  The office will be sure to inform your child's teacher and the teacher will ensure your child is packed and ready to be dismissed when requested. However, the office will not call your child down, nor will the teacher send your child down to the office, until you have arrived to pick them up. There could be a change in your plans, such as traffic, which may impact your arrival time. We want to make sure we maximize the amount of instruction time your child has. As soon as you arrive for pick up, we will call your child down to be dismissed. Thank you for understanding and please let the office know if you have questions.
