Happy November!  Can you believe the holidays are almost upon us?  It's such an exciting time filled with family, friends, fun, and of course more FOOD!  The Lake Geneva YMCA is here to keep you healthy and help you discover new ways to get active, so you can enjoy your holiday "GOBBLE, GOBBLE"... YMCA November Reminders & Events
Free Swim Team Trial Night - Nov. 5 at 6 pm
The Geneva Y Swim Team will host a free swim team trial night on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 6 pm at the YMCA. Children ages 6 and older who have the ability & desire to be a part of a competitive swim program are invited to attend. YMCA & Immanuel Lutheran Community Coat Drive
Let's work together to keep kids & families warm this winter! Please consider donating a gently used or new coat for children and adults in need.  Drop coats off at the Y or Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva this month, & we'll get them to families who desperately need them.  Thank you for supporting this collaborative effort!  Together we can do So Much More!

No School?  No Problem!  Reserve your child's spot at our upcoming fun & action-packed camps, which include swimming!  Early registration is recommended for the camps that run over Thanksgiving & Christmas Break!  Download your registration packet & see our camp page for full details.  
Upcoming Camp Dates:  Early Release Camps:  Nov. 13 & Dec. 11.  
Holiday School Day Out Camps:  Nov. 28 & Dec. 22, 23, 29, 30 & Jan. 2.

Family Laser Tag Night - Nov. 14, 5:30-7:30 pm
Have a blast with your family & friends! An awesome laser tag battlefield awaits you  in the Y gym during this action-packed evening offered by Wisconsin Battlefield Live.  No pre-registration required. Cost:  $5/round, $20/5 rounds.  Future dates: Dec. 12

Volunteer Opportunity:  Feed My Starving Children Food Pack Event - Nov. 21
Join the Geneva Y Swim Team swimmers & their families at this life changing volunteer event on Nov. 21 from 6:00-7:30 pm.  The team will travel to the Feed My Starving Children center in Libertyville, IL, and will work together to package nutritious meals that will be shipped to malnourished children around the world.  If you and your family are interested in participating, please contact GYST coach Amber Johnson at the Y at 262-248-6211.

Play Pickleball!  FREE Introductory Program Going on Now
(Perfect for seniors & adults who want to join a fun & less physically intense league.)

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the YMCA 17th Annual YMCA Seniors Prom on October 27.  

Attendees enjoyed a delightful evening of dinner and dancing at Hawk's View Golf Club.  

Congratulations to this year's prom king and queen, Glenn Stach & Alice Ogden!

YMCA Swim Coach Receives AYP 2014 Rookie of the Year Award

Congratulation to Coach Amber Johnson on receiving the Association of YMCA Professionals (AYP) "Rookie of the Year" award for her leadership skills, initiative to succeed & outstanding achievements as a new YMCA program director. Amber was recognized at the AYP fall conference on Oct. 10. When Amber joined the Y in April of 2013, she was tasked with reviving the Y's competitive swim program & developing a team that supports the YMCA mission & the needs of swimmers of all ages & abilities. She kicked off her first season with a team of just seven kids. Today, her team roster has more than 50 swimmers & continues to grow with each session. She has also revamped the Y's Master's swim team, which has grown to 30+ participants & now competes in state & regional competitions. Read more...
