VOTE NOW for the YMCA of the Fox Cities' Togetherhood Buddy Bag Program!

The YMCA of the Fox Cities Togetherhood Buddy Bag program is an effort to provide a tool for local law enforcement officers to use to help comfort children involved in traumatic situations. Police vehicles are equipped with pre-assembled bags that can be given to a child who has been involved in, or witness to a stressful event. Inside each bag is an age-appropriate book, coloring book, crayons and a small, cuddly stuffed animal. These treasures will help Police and First Responders console children who are upset, sad, scared or traumatized.

With your help , we have the opportunity to expand this program to more departments throughout the Fox Cities.

Dear Y Members,
Each year, the President of the United States issues a proclamation designating the first Thursday in May as a National Day of Prayer on which the people of our great nation may turn to God for prayer and meditation at churches, in groups and as individuals.
The theme for this year is "For Your Great Name's Sake! Hear Us... Forgive Us... Heal Us!" is taken from Daniel 9:19, which says, "O Lord, Listen! O Lord, Forgive! O Lord, Hear and Act! For Your Sake, O My Lord." Today, please join thousands of individuals, churches and communities to once again heed this call.
At this crucial time for our nation, we can do nothing more important than pray. Thank you in advance for making this spiritual discipline a personal priority. Please join me on this day in recommitting ourselves to the Mission of the YMCA of the Fox Cities, which is "to put Christian principles into practice by promoting youth, adult and family activities that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all."
On your next trip to the Y please visit our Spiritual Exercise boards located in each branch and also check out our program offerings here for some "Spiritual Exercise".
The Lord has graciously anointed our efforts, empowering them to touch and change many hearts and lives. May the Lord's peace fill your heart throughout the days ahead.
Yours in Faith,
William R. Breider III
President / CEO
