April YMF Member Meeting - Engineering Panel Q&A - 
TONIGHT April 24, 2018
YMF would like to invite all members to our April meeting where we will be hosting a Q&A panel made up of 5 engineers from different disciplines with experience ranging from 7 to 15 years.

Our 5 panelists will be providing insight for young engineers on career advancement on topics such as asking for salary raises, when to take the PE, promotions, etc. 

When: Tuesday, April 24th 
Time: 5:30 - 7:00 pm   
Where: Half Moon Sports Grill, 2121 E. Highland Avenue
 
Be sure to come out, bring your business cards and enjoy a drink on us. It is a great way to get to know your fellow local engineers and make life long connections that will help immensely during your career.

May YMF Community Outreach Event - Project CURE - 
May 19, 2018
Come help YMF Support Project CURE Saturday May 19th! Founded in 1987, Project CURE specializes in providing donated medical supplies to needy communities in 130 countries around the globe. Volunteers are needed to help sort and pack medical supplies for shipment in a fun and vibrant environment! This is an excellent way to make a difference.

When:  Saturday May 19, 2018 
    9:00 am to 12:00 pm

YMF 2018 Annual Fundraiser Planning Committee - 
Volunteers Needed!
It is that time again to begin the planning phase of our Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser! We will hold our first committee meeting in May and need all the help we can get. 

For those who are interested in helping out, please plan on staying an extra 15 minutes after our April monthly meeting to discuss committee meeting times and location. 

The Annual Fundraiser is a great way to get involved in and get your feet wet into what YMF is all about so please join us in this exciting experience!

Do you know someone in YMF who is always willing to volunteer at events, who puts in a generous amount of time and effort into improving the community, or even someone who always has a great attitude? Nominate them to be ASCE Phx YMF's Member of the Month! 

The Member of the Month will be recognized at our monthly general body meetings, as well as in our monthly newsletter and our Facebook and Instagram pages as an outstanding participant within our organization.
