Original Works and Cookie Dough Orders
Original Works orders will be in on Monday, December 12th and will be sent home with students.  Cookie Dough orders will arrive on the afternoon of December 15th.  Please pick them up from the kitchen no later than Friday, December 16th.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Lunch Orders  for the week of December 12th  are due on THURSDAY by midnight.  CLICK HERE for the lunch menu. 

Pies for Christmas!   See an upper school student or contact the school office to place your order.  Pie orders are due by THIS FRIDAY, December 9th. Proceeds benefit student field study accounts.

Christmas Cookies - We ask each family to please donate two dozen cookies for our Christmas Program reception on December 20th.  Bring them to the kitchen anytime during the day or before the program on Tuesday, December 20th.  Thank you!
Upcoming Events

Christian FM Jingle Bell Jog - December 17th @ 7:30 am
If you are interested in running/walking/jogging as a Master's Academy team, contact Nancy Cook by December 12th.  The 5K course location begins at South Beach Park.  Cost is $25/person ($10 for children 12 and under) and all proceeds benefit Christian FM.

Christmas Program - December 20th @ 7 pm
Join us as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas in the worship center.  Our students will present a Christmas program which will be followed by a cookie reception in the cafeteria. Invite family, friends, and neighbors!

Astronomy Night - January 6th @ 6 pm
Join the Treasure Coast Astronomy Club as together we view the beauty of God's creation, the night sky, from our campus. This is a FREE event!  The 8th grade class will be selling hotdogs, drinks, and snacks (proceeds benefit the 8th grade field study trip to Boston).

Christmas Service Project
Upper school students are collecting funds to bless a family from one of the Salvation Army's angel trees. Donations will be accepted through THIS THURSDAY. Please contribute!

Salvation Army Bell Ringers Needed
Volunteers are needed on DECEMBER 17th at Publix on Oslo/43rd Avenue to ring the bell for the red kettle.  Two hour shifts between 10 am and 4 pm are available.  Families are welcome to serve together. Middle school students must have an adult present, and high school students must be in groups of two or more.  Please contact Mrs. Nelson in the Upper School office if you would like to serve.  YOU CAN EARN VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR HELPING!

Christmas Art Display
Lower and middle school artwork (paintings, drawings, stained glass collages, foam carvings, Clay Nativity, and mixed media) will be on display in the school lobby December 19th - 21st.

Auction Procurement
Please submit any auction donations you have collected to the office before Christmas break. We will continue to accept donations in January, but need to begin organizing everything we have thus far.   Our online auction will launch on February 24th!

Yearbook Announcements:
Time is running out to purchase Student Tributes!  This is an opportunity for all grade levels. Contact Mr. Love for details.  You may still purchase yearbooks. Click here to order online.  Have photos to contribute? Contact Mr. Love for details on how to submit them.

Master's Academy earned Best of Parade!
Our float earned Best of Parade in the Vero Beach Christmas Parade this past Saturday. Thank you to April Butler for designing, constructing, and coordinating this effort.  Thank you to the Salas family for the use of their truck and trailer and to Mr. Salas for driving.  Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped put the float together, decorate, and ride on the float in costume.  Thank you to the Fife & Drum Corps.  Thank you to the families who handed out candy and cards before the parade and to the many families who walked the parade route with our float.  Most importantly, thank you Lord, for blessing us!   From the VB Christmas Parade judges:  "Best of Parade: Master's Academy, with a float depicting the true meaning of Christmas with great attention to detail and beauty."

Soft Fundraising Opportunities
- If you use AmeriGas (or know someone who does), please bring your receipts in to the school office.  We are able to submit them to AmeriGas and earn $$ for Master's Academy! Click here for details.

Congratulations to Teagan Yencho and Luke Geary!
These art students won 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in the Indian River County Fire Rescue sponsored Fire Safety Poster Contest.  The students won cash prizes, lunch at the fire station for their entire class, and $150 for the 2nd grade classroom.  Way to go, students!

Prayer Focus

Mr. Jack McLoughlin, our Praying Parent coordinator, invites all to pray over our school on Wednesday mornings at 8 am in the lunchroom (entrance closest to the church office). Even if you only have a few minutes, please join him in this important ministry.

Volunteers Needed
Each family is asked to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per year or pay a $400 advancement fee.  Hopefully, most families are well on their way to completing the required hours.  If not, please consider the opportunities below.

Forms to record your hours are available in the Upper and Lower School offices and on the website. Please complete forms even if you have already fulfilled your 20 hours as this demonstrates strong family involvement for our ACSI accreditation and for grant opportunities.
