Final Word from Dr. Smith

What is most important to you? Why do you find life worth living? Probably, it is because of things like love, joy, relationships, purpose, integrity, meaning, God, etc.

Do you realize that the above are not material and that the most important things in life are spiritual? This applies to Christians and non-Christians alike.

God created us to experience, pursue, and enjoy that which is bigger than we are. Our ultimate purpose has never been, and should never be, about material things.

I am reminded of Jesus' warning to not put undo emphasis on things that moths can eat, rust destroy, or thieves can steal. (Matthew 6:19)

If life's most precious things are immaterial, does our daily schedule reflect that, or are we giving things of this world more time than we ought?

Our greatest joys, the things that will give us the highest sense of purpose and fulfillment in life, are never material.  They are always spiritual.

Does your life reflect this?
